addicted on hospice

I was taking care of a man dying of cancer, and we did everything to keep him comfortable. He was asleep most of the time towards the end. The daughter flew in and threw a fit that her mom allowed them to give her dad pain meds that he could get addicted to.

She convinced her mom to have them take him off those pain meds. He started screaming and moaning, and he died a few days later. He was in a lot of pain those last few days.
