I work in a cardiologist office, a patient walked in not feeling well and collapsed in a cardiac arrest in the waiting room. A full on code the crash cart is out CPR code meds we are Defibrillation the electrical cord is stretched across the reception desk. Controlled chaos. A patient waiting for an appointment actually stepped across the electrical cord and asked if she was going to be seen today. That is entitlement, I thought I was going to actually lose it on her. I just said can you see this is an emergency. She huffed away. Patient survived. In the end it was a good day.
