warm smile

I had a young adult pt who was diagnosed late with cancer who declined rapidly and passed away quickly. Seeing them go from having such a vibrant smile and sparkle in their eyes, to watching it all fade away, and hearing of their passing in such a short span of time is something I will never forget. I think about them often. They had so much life to live, and I’ll never forget their warm smile.
