nail biter

A nurse I once worked with was a nail biter.

We went in to help her patient get admitted. We did a skin check, she pulled off his socks without gloves proceeded to touch the rash he had on his feet an say “hmm, I wonder what that is?” Again, without gloves. The hospitalist finally saw him and says “oh, yea thats totally scabies.” I don’t recall if she used hand sanitizer but she absolutely didn’t wash her hands and I saw her biting her nails within 5 minutes of leaving the room.
