When I first started nursing, doctors could get away with yelling, screaming, throwing stuff; the works. We developed a Code Pink. If one was called, it meant a nurse was getting chewed up. All available nurses reported to the scene of the crime and surrounded her, staring at the offending MD—rapid defusion.
